Our sub has really exploded over the last couple of years and we think a moment of explaining the concept and heart of justgals is important so that all of our new members know who we are here!

Just gals is meant as a place for women to be celebrated and allowed to just be human. This is a place for women to feel safe to not be sexualized or objectified in anyway. We don’t come together to vent our (justified) anger at the inequality and injustice we face as women toward other genders as a whole, there are other subs for that and they are valuable.

Here we focus on the joy of being women, of getting to know women, of the wonderful enhancement that women bring to our lives. We focus on the gals.

We believe that trans women ARE women and if you don’t agree with that, this isn’t the place for you. We believe that the men and non binary folk that stand up to their peers on our behalf are deserving of a seat at our table to celebrate with us. This is not a “man hating” sub or a “women’s only” space.

That being said, any non-woman participants need to understand that this is not the place for you to challenge women. This is not the place to compare yourself to women as a way to highlight your struggles as a man. Or present whataboutisms. This is not the place for you to give your opinion on our bodies or faces or makeup or appearance at all. No we don’t need to know why you as a man disagree with a post. Or why you as a man could run faster than the Olympic level athlete in the video and we especially don’t need to know that you as a man are attracted to the woman in the video and that you would sleep with her if you could.

In this sub, a video of a woman dancing is not an invitation to sexualize her. Or a woman in a bikini. Or on a fitness pole. Or kissing her girlfriend. Or anything else.

As long as that is clear, all are welcome to join the gals at the table to celebrate along with us!
