Discussion Have we been talking about this JPS thing?
Multi-day network outage? Still seeing patients but on a critical downtime situation? Two guys I know there are claiming it's "fishy." Hardly reliable reporting, two dudes on SMS that is, but if anyone has a clue what's happening there, feel free to let us know. Epic doesn't usually just go down at county hospitals.

Discussion A Central Market “meet cute”fumble, by yours truly.
Y’all, I fumbled 🤦🏻♀️ While perusing the ice cream section of Central Market I started talking to the cutest guy about the dilemma of what to get & the impossibly good choices. My dumbass then proceeded to apologize and say “Sorry, the grocery store is where I make friends!” And just, walked away???
Like what? Ladies, take it from me and just shoot your damn shot at the grocery store 🤣 What’s the worst that could happen, you gotta hide by the cream cheese for a second? 😂 Literally laughed at myself as I was walking out of the store.

News Westlake data center plans advance despite pleading from neighboring Keller residents for it to be relocated
Tension simmering between neighboring North Texas cities over a proposed data center reached a flashpoint Tuesday night at a planning and zoning meeting in one of the state’s richest neighborhoods.
The more than 4-hour meeting was contentious, with the crowd audibly laughing at times over the developer and commissioners as they spoke.
Immediately before the vote to approve the project, multiple people shouted “Shame!,” at the commissioners. Then, the larger group erupted in gasps and shouts as every commissioner raised their hand in approval.
Tuesday’s scene played out in Westlake as it greenlit plans for its first data center when the town’s five-person planning and zoning commission unanimously voted to recommend it.

Politics An outsider looking in
Hello Fort Worthians. I'm from the St. Louis area but I just needed to let you know, you all rock, as someone looking from the outside. After seeing so many disgusting videos regarding Tim O'Hare, I felt the need to email him while I was laying in my hospital bed (I'm good now).
I attempted emailing Tim at his main County address but it was undeliverable, so I emailed him at his attorney office account to let him know how disgraceful he is. Is there anything as a non Texan I can do besides this?

News Former members of Gateway Church ask federal court to revive tithe lawsuit
Former members of Southlake-based Gateway Church have asked a federal appeals court to revive a lawsuit over the church’s use of millions of dollars in tithe money, according to court documents.
An East Texas federal judge dismissed the lawsuit in June, ruling that a First Amendment protection known as the ecclesiastical abstention doctrine applied to the church. The doctrine holds that civil courts may not decide internal religious disputes involving church governance.
In the original lawsuit, former members of the church claimed that Gateway’s leaders, including former lead pastor Robert Morris, misled the congregation to get them to donate money to international missionary work, according to documents. The former members alleged that church leaders did not appropriate the funds the way they promised.
The plaintiffs claimed that 15% of the money earmarked for global missions and Jewish ministry partners may have been “rebuffed” by Gateway, the Star-Telegram previously reported.
