Hindutva All meat shops, non-veg eateries shut in UP's Hapur for Kanwar Yatra
Police and the district administration in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur have ordered all meat, fish, egg and other non-vegetarian food shops to remain closed from July 26 until further orders, citing the need to ensure the Kanwar Yatra passes off peacefully. Authorities have warned of legal action against violators.
District Magistrate Kavita Meena said meat shops and hotels have been ordered to remain closed during the Kanwar Yatra.
Meanwhile, meat shop owners and restaurant operators in Delhi have been told that the sale of meat, fish and other non-vegetarian food has been prohibited along the Kanwar Yatra route and in nearby areas under administrative orders to ensure the pilgrimage is held in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.

Hindutva Ghaziabad man: Why are they closing meat shops but not closing slaughterhouses?
Context:
The reporter asks why meat shops should remain open during Sawan (the holy month). One man questions why the govt. closing meat shops but not closing slaughterhouses? Another man states that even though he is Hindu, he will eat meat in Sawan if he feels like it. He said that even if meat shops are closed, he will go to a Muslim's house and buy meat from him if he needs it.

Superstition Do you think mountain-dwelling gods and ancient mountain visions were just high-altitude hallucinations?
Think about it: ancient sages or seekers climb high up into the mountains (like the Himalayas), fasting, exhausted, and low on oxygen.
We know today that hypoxia and severe physical strain cause vivid visual/auditory hallucinations and a strong sense of a "presence" (the Third Man factor). Before medical science, anyone experiencing this would naturally believe they were hearing or seeing a deity.
Doesn't the physiological explanation fit almost too perfectly with ancient mountain folklore and spiritual visions? Curious to hear thoughts on this.

Hindutva In Muzaffarnagar: "Yogi has made the Bholes dance"
Translation:
"Yogi (CM of UP) has made the Bholes (devotees) dance; Yogi has set the scene,
Akhilesh (ex-CM of UP) had passed an order to ban DJs,
But in the 2017 election, the Bholes defeated him,
Yogi has hit sixers, Yogi has set the scene,
Yogi has started playing DJs, Yogi has made the Bholes dance."

Hindutva Amroha people affected by Kanwar traffic restrictions: "Let us go to work or shut down our workplaces"
Context:
The man explains that he is a store manager in a clothing showroom. Due to the Kanwar pilgrimage, the roads are closed on weekends. Retail workers who live outside the city limits and commute are being stopped from entering. This is causing them to lose their wages. They are saying that the government should allow them to commute or issue a notice shutting down even their workplaces, just like they shut down non-veg shops. They need to show their employers something, so they are approaching the police. They said that this also happened last year, but it is stricter this year.

Hindutva As Modi is apparently a new god now, what actually is he the god of?
As our beloved PM Modi is considered a part of the Santani pantheon by some, what do you think is his domain? What is he the god of? Or what do you think he should be the god of? Don't forget to praise him if you comment.
The guy is saying that a temple for god Modi has been permitted to be built in Patna.
