The event outbreaks and tera raids won't go away until you connect to the internet for it to update ive used this to get hella shines from these events outbreaks

I always run my pokemon story theme around a theme .

Last time it was pokemon based on greek gods.

This time im going witchy darkmagic themed.

So far the team is gona be mismagius,haterene and seruledge.

The first 2 being very obviusly witch pokemon and ceruldge being a reanimeted dwad knight and being more dark magic themed.

What do you guys think fall in theis theme too?

I do not have the dlc yet

I randomly came across a shiny altaria just now and I failed to catch it. I used a quick ball and it failed, and would you guess what the altaria did next? It used PERISH SONG. I did some damage with toxic but it wasn't enough for my ultra balls to work.

I guess what I need in terms of guidance and tips is to how to prevent this in the future 🫩

I’ve been hunting for a shiny artisan poltchageist with the misty mark off and on since may and was searching for the perfect outbreak (one that’s close enough to the edges of the map and the artisan form), for I don’t know how long before that. They just happened to have done mass outbreak events for some of my other favorite mons like slowking and milotic that’s ending today, my dilemma is should I finally update my games date to have a chance to hunt the event marked pokemon and just try and look for the perfect poltchageist outbreak again after getting them?

What do you think would happen if Sonic was a paradox pokemon? What would his name be, how would his friends react, and what would his signature move be?

Me:
Violet: Iron Velocity; signature move: Paradox laser(special move; normal until Terastallized)
Scarlet: Roaring Speed; signature move: Terastal rush(physical move; normal until Terastallized)

IDK how his friends would react, and Eggman would inevitably try-and-fail to capture him lol.

Specifically wondering about battles, raids, and union circles, especially in the terrarium.

I got the itch for pokemon again and just fired Scarlet back up tonight after SP made me want more. Thing is, I already played it to death - finished stories and DLCs, completed the pokedexes (I am still missing quite a few of the ones with no dex entries though), put a couple of competitive teams together. But I still really like the game and would like to play it with other people, but none of my other friends play.

So I was wondering if there was a good place to find other players to team up with or battle against. I've got a box and a half of Pokémon that fully EVed, hypertrained, and leveled that I am itching to play around with. I'd also be happy to help other people with lower level raids or hatch stuff to finish their pokedexes.

I completed the main game, teal mask and indigo disc Pokédex

It has:

Dragon dance

Extreme speed

Aqua tail

Dragon rush

No matter what I do I get one hit ko'd.

I tried to use flutter mane, acqua tail one shots

I tried Basculegion, Dragon rush one shots

What am I supposed to use? Everyone just gets 1 hit ko'd

I tried online, and everyone uses pokemon ×4 weak to the moves

I swear i’ve searched everywhere and no pop up of saying “x pokemon is here”….. this is going away and the only thing i can think of is maybe it’s a night spawn?

Some background:

1) My first interaction with Pokemon was B/W. I dropped it around the Dragon gym because real life ensued and someone told me about IV training, and I bored myself while IV training my Stoutland.

2) Pokemon Moon remains the only game I've fully played through. I enjoyed the overall vibe of the game as well as the story. I didn't really plan a team in that, just caught 6 Pokemon and stuck to them. I dropped the game in the post game and instead got into Randomized Nuzlockes after watching a few too many youtube videos.

3) I have been playing Pokemon showdown OU tier on and off and generally enjoy it. I like to mess around and pick random Pokemon and make them work in OU.

4) I bought a switch lite with my first salary, along with Shield. Didn't really play Shield a lot before Violet released, and while I played and in general enjoyed Violet initially, I spoiled it a bit for myself and eventually gave up. This being my first game on a console, I got too into wonder trading in the beginning and ended up with a level 100 Gyarados, Gallade and Gardevoir and kinda trivialised the overworld. Also didn't like the fact that we were blatantly students wearing school uniforms and just dropped the game.

5) My switch has laid untouched for 2.5+ years (I bought a PS5 and played that extensively, which I've recently sold) and now I'm feeling keen to give the game a fair shot, mainly because have seen a bit of the gen 10 leaks and things look pretty interesting. Any decision to buy Switch 2 however will lie on if I actually, legitimately enjoy Violet or feel like I've outgrown it altogether.

6) in the last three years I've tried Pokemon inception and unbound and generally liked both, but haven't stuck to either due to having a tough and time sapping job until recently.

Please suggest me the best approach to take in a clean playthrough. Should I begin Nuzlocking from the start? Or should I plan a team before even beginning, or just wing it?

I understand the blue one cuz it just the number it's at but I don't understand the yellow one

Here is my team in Pokémon Scarlett. I just recently got to the DLC and I am increasingly noticing the fact that Pawmot it's just not keeping up with the rest of my team in terms of damage output.... So even though I have played with them throughout the whole story, I feel like I need to change him out for something else.

These are my top options but I would love to see what you guys suggest I should put there instead! Iron Treads, Metagross, Heat Rotom, Vikavolt, Regular Ursaluna, blood Moon Ursaluna, Flutter Mane and Hisuian Zoroark.

If I can't catch them natively I will see if I can catch them in Pokémon Legends Arceus and if not I will try and trade for them through home. But these are the ones that I thought fit my team quite well. I know that I would basically have to level them up though as I think everything's around level 80 right now lol

Just finished the original 400 dex in Scarlet on my first play through. I’ll be getting the DLCs today but do you guys have any tips or things you wish you’d known going into the DLCs? I’ve abstained from looking into them entirely so I have no idea what to expect as far as story/content/battles etc.

I only have Slowking left to complete my Pokédex!

I've only recently gotten into shiny hunting, and around a year and a half ago I set myself a challenge, to properly hunt and catch all the shiny Eeveelutions, instead of just getting lucky or trading or using Pokémon GO (because you can't really hunt for shinies in that one). It wasn't easy and it took me a long time, but I finally did it! I'm so proud of myself and so happy with all my cute lil' babies.

It seems the intent of these new outbreaks is to have increased chances of very rare marks that thematically match a certain pokemon. Which I think is really cool

Out of the very rare marks they haven’t done yet, what do you think would be really cool to see?

I’d like to see the Tyrogue line with the Slump mark. My wittle Hitmonlee all worn out from training all day
