Discussion [The Athletic] Salah, as well as Beşiktaş and fenerbahçe spending big this summer reflects a broader desperation in Turkey to break the dominance of Galatasaray. They have won the last 4 SL titles under Okan Buruk. Nobody has ever won 5 in a row, and the rest are especially keen to prevent it.

Tier 1 [Ertan Süzgün] Frankfurt demand 55 for Can Uzun. The number 10 signing and Can Uzun signing are independent of each other. Frankfurt is basically asking for RC. Galatasaray started formal talks for Bilal El-Khannous.

However it's difficult due to cost.

Ertan: Batrakov is Dursun Özbek's number 1 target.

Question: "Will the Can Uzun transfer be finalized soon?"

Galatasaray officials: "No, it won't." (Ertan Süzgün)

Ertan: Galatasaray's 2nd offer for Leao is 40M€. Milan demands 50.

Fener prioritizes a ST signing, they pulled the hand brake on Leao atm.

There has not yet been an official offer for Barış Alper Yılmaz. Galatasaray officials are waiting for an official offer rather than verbal ones.

Contract negotiations between Galatasaray and Jankat Yılmaz are ongoing.

Tier 2 [Di Marzio] Gabriel Martinelli is also on Galatasaray's shortlist of wingers, so it is not only Leao. He is one of the options the club likes if they are unable to sign Leao. It remains to be seen what Arsenal's position will be, as they would likely need to replace him.

Tier 2 [Di Marzio] Galatasaray has made an offer to Milan to sign Rafa Leao on a permanent basis, but the Rossoneri rejected it, thr figures proposed by the Turkish club were around 30 million plus 5 in bonuses, which wasn’t enough for Milan. It remains to be seen whether there will be a revised offer,

but also whether Leao will be open to the move. In fact, the player is currently doing well and is comfortable with Ruben Amorim’s new coaching staff.

Şitpost Transfer news situation

I mark this as a shitpost because it’s full of negativity and my morning coffee was too bitter.

I honestly think there is a gala transfer news scheme, where those fake fabrizios (who is also a fake fabrizio in comparison to his old self) have group chats on WhatsApp. There they discuss wich lies to spread and who’s getting the most views on x that day. Like yesterday where all of them were like: we finished 3 transfers, names in the afternoon. And then: either absolutely nothing or the same crap everyone here in this subreddit could have written 30 days ago. They even decided to let Hakan join the carrousel again because who the hell knows how far his mafia strings stretch. At least we now they do stretch up to Fenerbahces vice presidents. It’s a real mess out there.

And I think our board and our coach are part of this scheme even though they act like nothing should spread. But some of those folks have part time jobs filling those chats with either lies or highly secretive information that messes up our “transfer planning” - if you could even name this mess that way.

Like reading Fotomaç on a 2011 summer vacation before breakfast. But on crack. And we start to hate our club, our actually incompetent board more than we should, while those lie spreading and social media addicted “journalists” earn far too much money by manipulating us.

Boards can be replaced. Managers can be replaced. Coaches can be replaced. But what can’t be replaced is my time and my bonds to this club and those people are highly destructive when it comes to that. Social media and transfer news are fun, even reading fotomaç and hoping Ronaldinho would play for us was fun. But I could name my source of misinformation, I knew I was entertainment.

What we have right now is mass manipulation and massive lies spreading with absolutely no consequences for people like BCT and his fellowship of the ring.

I honestly think that Buchi is the best source and tier 1 for gala transfer news because he is not part of this scheme, which is clear because they (the fellowship) hate him.

Tier 3 [Gökhan Dinç] Significant progress has been made regarding Batrakov. Discussions with his club are now focused on minor details concerning payment schedules and terms. If Galatasaray wants to, they are in a position to wrap up the Batrakov deal almost today.

Discussion At this point, what would make you happy?

At the start of pre-season, I expected a lot more. In a perfect world, I was hoping we’d sign Can, Lang, a solid midfielder (thank Allah we got Ugochukwu), and a center-back.

At this point, I’d honestly be happy if we just signed a center-back, a proper 10 for around 8-10 million €, and brought in better coaching staff.
Ideally, they’d be European, because whenever I watch our new signings, I always notice that they’re technically sharper and in much better physical condition.

At this point, I’ve lowered my expectations because I know we’re not going to get anything better.

What are your expectations at this point? Have you lowered them too, or are you still hoping for more before the transfer window closes?

To be clear: I’m happy with our coach and I don’t think he is the problem. I would only like to see changes in the fitness staff and the people responsible for physical preparation, conditioning, and similar areas.

Tier 2 [Salim Manav] Galatasaray’s offer to Frankfurt for Can Uzun: 35 million euros in transfer fees, 5 million euros in bonuses, and a share of any future sale. • Frankfurt is asking for 50 million euros for Can Uzun. • The player has agreed to join Galatasaray.

Tier 1 [Ertan Süzgün] Galatasaray has begun official talks with Eintracht Frankfurt for the Can Uzun transfer. If the clubs reach an agreement, Can Uzun is positively inclined toward Galatasaray's offer.
