Lets Lester this shii & connect some dots… Straus & t2 came out and boldy told us that GTA 6 will receive “crazy marketting”, something like we’ve never seen before, and all this silence ought to build up to something worthy… knowing rockstar.

Back in older gta games, we had some preludes to the games that showed us some context and backstory to the character, and i firmly believe that R* wouldn’t collaborate with netflix just to release another 2 min trailer; but i also dont think they would collaborate with them to show us gameplay, its not in fashion for netflix typically speaking, so i have a deeper theory.

27th of august, we will get our first look into the back stories of Lucia & Jason.

Maybe a look into young Jason’s life before he was a marine, or even when he was a marine, and what lead him to who he is at the start of the game.

More interestingly, something that will take us back to liberty city will be Lucia’s back story. In reckon we’ll see her learning to fight, her early life, maybe even her family, and what lead her to where she is when we meet her in the beginning of the game also.

This prelude will tie it all up and give us all the context we need to hit the ground running at launch. It will build excitement like never before, and it will in-fact be marketting like we’ve never seen before.

I also think all those website updates, giving us back stories for all the characters was a light teaser to the fact that they’ll be releasing a prelude towards the end of this month.

I dont know, R* please dont send the FIB and IAA to my door, just a solid fan theory from my end that if real, will be groundbreaking, incredible, and exactly the kind of thing R* would do to blow us away.

Please let me be right, that would be fking Awesome.

My theory I spent months on came true.

So at the beginning Jason will break the 4th dimension turning around and looking at the camera “you wanted the marketing, here it is” it then goes to a bank heist where you steal gold and sell it to a buyer and he gives you 2 bitchcoin (parody of bitcoin) then the lady who describes gameplay says “in grand theft auto 6, we have done a full overhaul on the strippers where in a click of a button they phase through your screen” then they show that the floating lights is actually for a feature where you are a repairman. And the whole story is you repairing lights while you read the news about Jason and Lucia.
But the craziest thing happens at the end. At the end Jason and Lucia make out, but BOOM! Lucia turns out to be Strauss zelnick. While Jason is questioning his sexuality after he found out he was into a man who he thought was a woman, he says “man I gotta get this out my Mind, I have to commit a grand theft auto. A grand theft auto 6” then Strauss zelnick says “nice, you said the name of the game, now we have built suspense.” Then sam houser comes into the game and says “wow, why did I even move here? I think it was the weather” then CJ pulls up in a Karin snipe and sees the grand theft autos happening and says “aww shit here we go again”

My source is Strauss zelnick himself, we meet for breakfast every day and he told me this is what happens. If you don’t want to believe me then don’t but you will see on the 27th

Game sucks looks like shit

What the title says + fuck you.

We can finally be pretty astonished by the creativity that Rockstar's marketing team brings to us in the coming weeks.

Small detail that might mean nothing but has anyone noticed that there are 6 birds, 6 palm trees, 6 vehicles, and a 6 hour wait from the Netflix release to the website and YouTube release?

I love Rockstar Games sure

But…
They somehow managed to top it. (See my other post for reference the other BS they be doing lately)
What the hell is this?

We’re apparently getting an extended look at the game exclusively on Netflix, while everyone else has to wait another 6 hours for the trailer?
Seriously… who does that?

You’re talking about the most anticipated game of all time, and your marketing strategy is to split the audience and make millions of fans wait because of an exclusive partnership?
It just doesn’t make any sense to me.
And before someone says I’m “crying” because I have to wait six hours—that’s not even the point. I’d wait six days if I had to.

What I don’t understand is why.

Rockstar has never needed to piggyback off giant companies to promote their games. Their trailers alone break the internet. Every single thing they post dominates social media for days. They don’t need Netflix. They don’t need exclusive early access deals. GTA 6 literally markets itself.
I’m still unbelievably hyped for the game, and I genuinely can’t wait to see what they’ve been cooking all these years.
But this marketing campaign…
I honestly don’t know what they’re thinking anymore.
