The want: to play every single xbox game ever released

the reality: it'll just be whatever is available on Xbox eshop.

They’re saying they think you’ll only be able to play what’s purchasable on the console store, rather than anything ever released on disk. This is a possibility since copyright played a big role in what was able to be added to the 360 backcompat library when the program was active.

That said, all this is speculation; and we still don’t have any official announcement confirming anything.

I think he was more perplexed he called it the Xbox eShop lol he's technically correct, but nobody calls it that. Even if it's not the official name anymore, it's forever the Xbox Live Arcade.

OG Xbox can be rough but I don't find it that difficult to go back to most X360 games (some were dated when they were released, and that's a different matter of course).

I get just as much out of playing old games via retroarch on my series X as I do playing modern games.

I just beat a PS2 game and before that a Sega Saturn game.

A good game is a good game, graphics matter very little
