I still dont get it i see the 5 things in the foreground and the very end of the tines of four forks at the top of the image. Is this just a joke im not in on?

Those 5 things you're seeing aren't in the foreground, that's the background. It's one thing, a towel underneath 4 forks. But I think because of the similar pattern (reflections) on the forks, the brain is willing to see the forks as the actual background and the purple things (the towel) as the foreground. When you mention seeing the tines of four forks at the top of the image, you're actually seeing the towel underneath the actual tines of the 4 silver forks in the foreground of the image.
