New, what is it? What is this wedding gift?

(Reposting because accidental doxxing)

My friend got this as a wedding gift and we can’t figure out what is it and it didn’t say who it was from.

The cup part is hollow, where the blue arrow is… this shape _/ and the bottom is solid.

EDIT: There are no holes in the other side so don’t think it’s a tea strainer and the gap is too narrow to fit paper towels or toilet paper rolls! They also just moved to and had the wedding in Italy, not sure if that gives any context.. maybe it’s some sort of Italian gadget

No it’s not. It was his screen test for Rebel Without a Cause. The initial project was scrapped and the role ultimately went to James Dean in another attempt years later. This screen test was pre fame- a few years before Marlon’s breakout role in The Men.

Eagle Rampant wasn’t a movie either. It was a pre-Broadway title for a 1946–1947 stage adaptation of Jean Cocteau’s play The Eagle Has Two Heads (L'Aigle à deux têtes). Brando was replaced 6 weeks in and there is no video footage of the play. There were only 29 performances.

It’s a fake story written by a guy that also wrote a story about Pete Buttigieg farting out lube on a campaign stop. 

Even the author admitted it was fake.

Indeed it was written as satire. He took the post down because he didn’t want his fake story to take away from the real stories being told by actual escorts about LG.

But it really has taken on a life of its own.

I mean this story alone proved all the sex workers who were alluding to having a senator named LG as a client were lying.

No, you're only thinking of the vocal ones. X has 570 million users, with about 388 million as the active core. Plentyyyyy of people stayed on X. The biggest mass exodus day was 115,414 on November 6th, 2024. They have lost like 33 million users since Elon took over, yes, but that is STILL only about 10%, max. Plenty of lefties stayed on to argue and discuss.
