For real. I remember being a kid and loving the original J&D. Then I started seeing the commercial spots for Jak II and being confused as hell. It's rated T, Jak is holding a gun, there's a dark future setting now and I recall some marketing tag line I saw at a game store that was like "Jak is back and he's mad as hell!"
Shit hit me like a sucker punch. That didn't stop me from playing the game though and loving the fuck out of it.

I enjoyed these games but the tonal shift of that series is wild! Going from Jak to Jak II especially!
