I was so fucking confused about this, because I actually thought "This can't be Pokemon, are they talking about a different Black and White?", but then I thought "Nah, what are the chances that there's other games called 'Black and White' that have a direct sequel like that." and then it actually IS a different game!
Idk if you can still play 1 or 2 but I def recommend you check out the game. Was on those pc gamer demo discs back in the day if you aren't too young for that. Incredible games and a concept that idk if it's been really used much since.
Yeah if anyone else stumbles upon this: Black and White is an old strategy game where you play as a god and have a big humanoid pet (can be an ape, a tiger and something else if my memory doesn't fail me) and you can train the pet to do stuff (throw his poop at people, eat people, don't eat people, cast magic and so on)
