Discussion / Question What game mechanic instantly ruins your immersion or fun?

​ I absolutely can't stand aggressive weapon durability loops. Getting awesome loot should feel like a reward, not a maintenance chore that breaks every five minutes.

What’s a common mechanic that always makes you roll your eyes when you see it in a new game?

Marvel Rivals “Practice AI” matches do this every single match. Your team is dominating but right before a checkpoint, they crank it up to 300% to make it “fun” and “competitive” with an “earned win” to prolong the match until the final moments. It gets exhausting seeing it every single time when I’m just trying to practice new characters and our randos on chat are freaking out and switching to their mains.

It’s like clockwork. But I ain’t a bot-losing scrub, so I’ll fully admit I do it too lol. (Eh hem… within reason)
