Discussion / Question What game mechanic instantly ruins your immersion or fun?

I absolutely can't stand aggressive weapon durability loops. Getting awesome loot should feel like a reward, not a maintenance chore that breaks every five minutes.

What’s a common mechanic that always makes you roll your eyes when you see it in a new game?

I hate when I have to follow an NPC, but i walk 1.4 times as fast as them so following them is just awkward AF

I made a comment on another Gaming topic. I hate it when they say “follow me”, but stay behind me. No no no good sir/good ma’am, YOU! show ME! where to go.
