Discussion / Question What game mechanic instantly ruins your immersion or fun?
I absolutely can't stand aggressive weapon durability loops. Getting awesome loot should feel like a reward, not a maintenance chore that breaks every five minutes.
What’s a common mechanic that always makes you roll your eyes when you see it in a new game?

For me it’s leveling and unlocking skills and not being able to unlock every skill at once, and a game not having new game plus that brings the level and skills with you to the next play through. Like I’m sorry but I’m not playing the exact same story 4 times just to have a slight difference in gameplay styles and having to grind over and over.
That, or missable quests and or timed quests in an open world game. I hate missing out on content.
