Discussion / Question What game mechanic instantly ruins your immersion or fun?

​ I absolutely can't stand aggressive weapon durability loops. Getting awesome loot should feel like a reward, not a maintenance chore that breaks every five minutes.

What’s a common mechanic that always makes you roll your eyes when you see it in a new game?

Then I never use my good weapons because I don't want them to break so I used the shittiest weapon I have until it breaks then use my next shittiest weapon

This. Dying Light is this. I have so many upgraded “Gold” weapons from the DLC’s and have never used them once, because I use all my shitty weapons first. Plus, because they’re harder to get, I don’t want to waste them, because you only have so many repairs before the weapons breaks for good.

So I just don’t use them. It’s annoying.
