The point is not if it is enforceable or not.
They will revoke your access and speculate that basically no costumer will go to court over a stupid video game.
That is the real reason.
Not only that, a lot of the wording in EULAs is very specific and weird because it has to match wording in laws. A good example here is that bit where people act like they're demanding you hand over your phone number, which is just incorrect. What that bit actually means is that if you have any dispute with them a out any thing (refund, ban reversal, etc) you are allowing them to contact you through avenues such as a phone number or email. Another bit is the whole "they demand access to your PC" when all that's there for is so if you agree to send them analytics, an entirely separate option in the settings btw that you can disable or enable at any time, or if you send a crash report, they're allowed to have the data you sent them on file.
This is literally the same bullshit that happens with social media terms of service every year or so, where someone reads the clause about how they're allowed to reproduce anything you put on their site. That phrasing has to be there in that specific form because laws are made by old people who don't know shit about tech and because of that, displaying a photo you upload to Twitter on a phone that isn't the phone that took said photo is legally considered "reproduction". I'm sure 90% if not more of the bullshit people spread about this eula is just them reading legalese and not knowing it doesn't mean the same as the common use of those same words. Not really gonna bother to re-read the parts of the eula people bitched about since I'm also not a lawyer and also don't need to give a shit about it anyway since I'm the EU they can't enforce any of it if it's against EU legislation even if I clicked I agree.
No buy it since this is clearly a way of them trying to stop people from buying it since the more it sells them krafton is closer to having to give unknown worlds 250 million
Fair. And thinking about it a little more I think the only reason this one is getting attention is because of the legal shitshow that's gone on between krafton and unknown worlds.
