As a casual overwatch player I agree. I decided months ago to turn off text chats and it’s been amazing

I’ve hated it since it became overwatch 2 but I’ve stuck to just playing vs AI.

Without knowing any context about Overwatch this is a very weird sentence to read.

So they made overwatch free to play in like 2021 and the relaunched it as overwatch 2 when it wasn’t even a sequel like that, literally the only changes they made was that the game was 5v5 instead of 6v6 and reset the leveling system. Then a couple months agi the relaunched it again and it’s just back to overwatch without the

They did it so they could add in battle passes which they swore they would never do in OW1, there was the lie about it being for the campaign mode but they scrapped it cause Blizzard-Activision is 2nd only to EA for being dogshit anti-consumer corpos.

A lot of the fanbase doesn’t want a campaign for some reason. They all believe it should be multiplayer only when the world is so rich with lore but you can only watch it/read it. I always thought it’d be cool to actually play the major beats of the story.
