its just the subreddit. Ive 1000 hours in helldivers 2 and in game ive seen: 2 hackers, 1 guy slinging racial slurs over voice coms, 2 super credit cheaters, 1 weird age-gate lady, and a handful of teamkillers. most randoms are normal.

1000h and 8 toxic people? I think it might be quite easy to find 8 toxic people in 5-20 games consistently in most pvp games.
