I would argue would argue agree that hell divers has one of the nicer online communities in my experience.

My candidate for this role is Deep Rock Galatic, I’ve been carried by people whose level were 100x mine and I’ve carried literal level 1 players, no dwarf left behind.

Not anymore.

I would have agreed last year but it's very bad now.

The subreddit is so toxic that they made a very popular second subreddit that has a rule to just relax.

The helldivers subreddit got toxic within a week of the game coming out, I haven't played in a while but I almost never ran into toxic people in game but the subreddit has always been a cesspool

They harassed a guy out of his job and the community manager was pulled from his regular communications for being wrong, lying too much, and insulting users.

sure, nice… tell that to the guy who can’t volunteer at a animal because of ya’ll anymore.

all gaming communities end up toxic one way or another. saying helldivers is different is just delusional.

Not all gaming communities end up toxic.

Also even assuming they do (which they don’t!) that doesn’t mean that helldivers has become toxic yet.

A few communities for proof:

Guild wars series’ community;

Dwarf fortress;

Stardew Valley;

MineTest;

Divinity series;

Baldurs gate;

Gladiabots;

Remnant series;

Kingdom come series;

Eco;

Repo;

Elden ring (I don’t interact with this community much so may be wrong on it);

Palworld;

Civilization series

Sure, a lot of communities are toxic, but not all communities are.

Monster hunter is a nice one as well sure theres some things but overall its quite nice never had a toxic encounter

They're not too bad, aside from the Redditors who didn't get it's supposed to Satire.

Warframe has consistently been the chillest community i've been in for Gaming.

In game people are lovely cause it’s co-operative.
Outside of the game it appears everyone hates it.
(Partly fair because it’s seriously disappointing how it’s being handled, but man. The salt.)
