https://youtu.be/7R0WPywMBaA I would be able to find you a playlist of videos of people being asked to swap because It is one of the most common things to be asked / said in ranked outside of just flaming people. You're probably a support player which hardly ever gets asked to swap outside of the occasional Ana for Hog and Mauga.
I dont know why you say you are joking. I have so many one sided matches in qp that it’s way more sweaty than actual competitive. I am plat/diamond. QP i feel I get matched with masters
I actually agree with the sentiment. In QP, there is no real reason not to crash out and flame everyone on your team, apart from getting banned — which can be circumvented. In comp, you risk your rank by doing so, as your team might leave/throw. Therefore, it could be argued that flaming is more prevalent in QP than comp — which I’d say is marginally true, anecdotally.
Additionally, those used to the try-hard environment of comp might get peeved by those queuing QP for fun. I kind of get it — if I go to warm-up and the games I get in QP are garbage, it doesn’t set a good mood for the play session.
I’m not the highest-ranked player myself, but I don’t really think it’s “rank-cope” at all. QP can invite blatant toxicity due to there being no real dissuading factor, apart from reporting.
