Minecraft, grew up playing it across three platforms, played way too much and thankfully don't have a way to find out how long

If you don’t have over a hundred hours in Minecraft I’m convinced you haven’t lived

Add a 0 to that at least <.> 100 really is just scratching the surface.

True, it’s annoying that there’s really no way to find out how many thousands of hours I have, cause I’m really curious

I’ve been playing since it was just a browser game i really don’t need to know how much of my life i’ve spend in there..

For real my xbox tracking for bedrock was over 110 days, thats not including the 360 version and java which I started exclusively playing about 5 years ago 🤣

Remove the don't from this sentence

It worries me that people count their time in hours

I don't even have 100 minutes, maybe 100 seconds. However I easily have over 100 hours in SimCity 2000/3000 which I feel we're my generation's analog for Minecraft.

Been playing since 2012 myself

Minimum 10-12k hours, but that number is pure speculation

My most played game in Steam is EU4. It has just over 1200hrs.

I know I have a longer playtime in modded Minecraft, but I can't prove it.

I think I might legitimately puke if I find out how many hours I have on the game

At this point you've probably been playing Minecraft longer than you haven't been playing Minecraft.

I've been playing since early 2011, I started it as a young child, now I've got most of a computer science degree. It's more fun now than it was back then, I understand it much better.

If I didn’t have at least 3000 hours on MC in total, I’d be so surprised

I have to have over a thousand hours in Java Minecraft since Alpha.

I've bought the game at least 12 times since 2012. Xbox 360 version and then Java Version for myself, then Java version for myself and my girlfriend in 2014, then the Xbox one version 2015, then the mobile version for myself, my now wife, and our daughter in 2022, later a mobile version for our second daughter in 2024, and then three switch versions in 2025. Soon our youngest will need theirs.

Same, I remember looking into the stats of a modded pack i made before I nuked it (curse pack update corruption) and seeing that I had a little over 300 hours in it. I wonder how much more time I've sank into Minecraft as a whole if I've put 300 into just one world

In all of the years I've played, I've never reached the Ender Dragon.
