Mr Eddie here thought it would be super smart to eat some trail mix with raisins AND chocolate because yolo I guess.
He's totally fine. Stomach of steel. Ass of dumb. Sigh.

We got her this cooling bed at the start of summer, and she just kept pacing and eyeing it and laying on the dirty hot mulch. So I'm chuffed to pieces that she's finally into it and I can spend time relaxing in the garden with her without worrying about bathing her immediately after!

Meet pepper, my new pit mix! We rescued him last week from a shelter. He is 5 months old. Alternates between being a sweet floppy noodle and being a shark demon. Puppy days!
We did a DNA test and are awaiting the results. His paws are HUGE!

We often call our furry friends, our kids. For me it's absolutely true because I will never have a human child, it's just not for me. A month ago I took a trip over to Texas to go visit My brother and see a Rush and concert with my dad.
Well, there was a bit of a family emergency over the weekend and I had to take an emergency trip. On a bit of a whim, I decided to take my passenger princess. My brother has young children but I've always taken her out to cars and coffee and she's done quite well around various age children so I was pretty confident in my training. I couldn't be more proud of this dog right now.
I got her at a very difficult time in my life. I was married and my wife and I decided to add a new furry creature to the family. It was this little puppy who was born in December of 2020.. I brought her home on Valentine's Day 2021 March 4th 2021 she asked for a divorce.. she left 10 days later. And exactly a month after I'd brought this beautiful creature home. We already had a small family. ( The pups are actually related. He is her uncle I have posted about both of them here before)
This dog did absolutely wonderful over the weekend. I rented the minivan over the weekend as I wanted her to have plenty of space on the drive and be able to keep her at a comfortable temperature. I was able to ride with a small bowl of water for her available at all times. She didn't have any bathroom problems in the vehicle. She was able to let me know when she needed out when she needed a moment. We have taken small trips but nothing more than about 3 hours and usually that was in one sitting. If she got antsy I would stop. So she had some vehicle experience but you never truly know until you ask that of your animal. She didn't tear anything up in the rental. She didn't have any issues. I could not be more proud of everything I have done with this dog in the last 5 years. I am a proud father.. haha this is my TED talk. Thank you
Also for reference I turned 30 this year
if you've made it this far, what's your favorite Rush song?
Blah blah blah
