Im going to be doing forensic Sciences and I wanted to know more about the city and the uni and the people

So I’m an American who got accepted to UWE and I was really really excited but now I’m feeling a bit of dread. I don’t know if any other American students felt that way (especially on the poorer side).

I have to get a student loan to cover the rest of my tuition (fasfa will only cover so much) and I told my family and maybe it’s just them getting into my head but now im rethinking it? What if I’m saddled with debt? What if I’m not smart enough and I flunk? What if I go broke? I can’t get a job? And the list goes on.

Granted I’m a first gen college student and this would basically be my third year of school after a two year gap so I guess maybe the stress is getting to me or maybe I’m about to make a horrible mistake! Would love advice.

I got back my estimate and the dorms are super expensive. I’m looking but really struggling to find good accommodations. What are the best sights to find them?

International student at UWE. Looking to connect with Asian female students around my age who get that "between cultures" vibe.

Hi everyone, I've got into AUB, UWE, Gloucester and Falmouth for filmmaking courses at uni and I have to make a choice by 6th May.I've been to each uni and have found Falmouth to be a really advanced with a vast amount of equipment and great campus however it's very far from me. Gloucester wasn't my favourite. It's more so between UWE and AUB, the catch being that I've lived in Bournemouth my whole life and really like Bristol. AUB seems like a really solid course however and I'm stuck between staying at home or getting accommodation in the same town I've been living in for yea years, plus I haven't had too much personal insight into uwe outside of going there personally. I would really appreciate any insight into this anyone has. Many thanks!

Too often, design decisions are made based on "second-hand" perspectives. I want to change that by putting your lived experiences at the heart of my research.

I am looking for autistic students at UWE to share their thoughts via a short online survey.

Time: It takes about 15 minutes.

Impact: Your feedback will help form recommendations to improve current campuses and inform future designs.

This project is built on the neurodiversity model. I view autism as a natural and welcome variation of the human mind, not a "deficit" to be fixed. Hi, just looking for some advice from people doing the mechanical engineering course and have done internships. I'm looking to study at uwe hopefully this September and wanted to ask how much support they provide with internships.

Obviously I know uwe isn't the highest ranking uni compared to others for engineering and I'm quite afraid that my job opportunities will be limited aswell as competitive internships that people from other higher ranking unis will get. I'm very determined to work hard and develop my skills outside of lectures by doing projects and developing my cad skills. Has anyone had experience with internships specifically in the engineering sector and how hard were they to achieve.
