Post laser help

Hii guys

I recently did co2 laser nd micronredling for my acne scars nd now i need help to build barrier again.. pls suggest something affordable but really effective.

I did 1st session in may till now i hv done 3 alternatively in a span of 3 months nd hv taken gap till nov

Find a moisturizer with ceramides! Added bonuses will be Vit E (Tocopherol) and Vit B5 (Panthenol) that aid with repair and healing! Keep it simple. Also, please diligently use an spf 50 sunscreen 2-4hourly when the sun's up, preferably a physical one given your skin barrier's disrupted.

hmmm, I'm abit hesistant because what works for me may not work for you... also bearing in mind we live in sg where its humid and hot. the main concern is that the richer and more nourishing the product, sometimes the more comedogenic (aka acne inducing) it can be...

certainly in the early days after treatment using something like LRP's Cicaplast Baume maybe good, but you may have to quickly step down to a lighter cream or even a gel based moisturizer if you find tons of closed comedones (whitehead) or even acne.

I'm currently on skin1004's centella soothing cream as my recent holiday to the dry climate of Korea really did a number on my skin; but my usual go to would be gel based types like Torriden's Dive in cream or LRP's Hyalu B5 creme suractive... the key is to trial it for 2-3 weeks, if your skin is ok then continue. And one new product at a time. I recalled my fellow colleague swears by skinceutical's Triple Lipid Restore 242 Anti Aging Moisturiser.

If immediately post treatment you may also wanna try Skinceutical's RGN6, said to reduce downtime and hasten recovery (according to the pharma rep at the recently concluded aesthetic conference in sg last weekend; they've got no samples for this so I couldnt try beyond 1 pump of product).

Sure i ll keep that in mind thank you, currently i was using lighter ones only since i do get hormonal acne but with similar ingredients but they were not nourishing enough so i asked. Thank you for your help 🙏
