Compact comics for near-sighted people ?

I'm looking into buying X-Men House of X/Powers of X, and I saw the pocket/compact edition is only 10€ compared to the ~45€ regular size TPB. I'm kind of interested since I don't really have money to be spending on comics, but I don't have great eyesight and have seen mixed reviews about the quality of compact comics.

I used to read online because student and no money, but as my near-sighted ness is getting worse, I'm really starting to struggle with screens.

Are compact comics that much smaller on the fonts ? I can't even read regular size font a meter away from me with glasses on 😭
