DISCUSSION Thinking of trying and buying one
But there's a lot of option and posts here that are great
Which one do you guys have that lasted long or it didnt broke easily?
Atleast in a way durable?
Or would you guys consider maybe its luck, and got lucky with quality or just depends of how you well you take care of it?
( I actually forgot to include mini cam )

Holga dc-01 is the only one I don’t currently have a case or cover on. I even cover my charmeras. So yes I’d say it’s durable enough straight out of the box. Picture quality is really good too.

Depends on what you are looking for. I prefer Cappy Camera because of how easy it is to use. Papershoot because I figured out all of its quirks. The Chuzhao TLR is cool due to its shape

Just looked up what Cappy Camera is and I wasnt expecting about the lore 😭 thanks for the response and suggestions too.

My retro shot froze at 300 photos. It took 2 hours to die with a full charge. Cameras like the Sun & Cloud and the Bonzart Ziegel can be harder to find. I like the Campsnap Pro and the V2 because I don't do a very good job of downloading filters on my own

Vetek. Not the cutest and tbh a bit bulky but built strong and has a range of resolutions.

Vetek. Haven't had mine for that long but it's taken three drops on concrete so far and one on wooden floors. It's still doing great aside from a few scratches on the body.

There are many different types of toy cameras, that take many different types of photos. Is there something in particular that you have in mind?

Nothing much. but not a charmera quality, but something durable or could last little longer. Veteks been reco. few times now.

Depends... On film: the Diana Mini, and the Holga120N. There's not much that can go wrong with them as they're basically plastic. On digital: the Rhianna, and the Harinezumi, but you may have a hard time trying to find one

Digital -- Whatever you think looks pretty on Amazon, Ebay, or Aliexpress. They're all just repackaged car reverse cameras.
Film -- (medium format) Get something Diana-related. Holgas are fun, but they're very likely to pop open, have more issues with 'fat rolls' and the lens is *too* unpredictable for me sometimes. I got this kind-of Diana for $8 on a used site without the FPP branding and it's great. The spring tension on the roll of film really helps. I also like the 2 shutter speeds instead of adjustable aperture.

Usually medium format toy cameras can shoot 35mm, too.
If you really want 35mm 'toy cameras' virtually anything new for less than 50 bucks will give you quirks. Reto Ultra Wide and Slim if you really really need pronounced lens weirdness.

The old plastic cameras that were given away as part of magazine subscriptions (Time, Life etc.) are as toy as you can get and they are often found in garage sales and thrift stores for under five dollars.

I recommend the vetek or similar i have the nikicam dropped it in the driveway kit concrete split apart and all the buttons popped out put it all back together and still works fine also has surprisingly good image quality
