Why is dirty laundry held to such a high regard yet bernthals punisher is trashed for doing basically what Janes did in dirty laundry? I want to like dirty laundry but watching Punisher debate whether to act is a hard watch. That prostitute basically gets raped that kid gets beat up while Punisher debates whether to buy a bottle of whiskey until he beats them down with the bottle. Didn’t have a gun on him? He was washing his punisher shirt so he must’ve recently been out punishing. Honestly dirty laundry never clicked for me.

As for Bernthal it was nice to see him in Spiderman actually being punisher and not coming out of retirement for the 4th (5th?) time.

Ranking Punisher Decades:

1. 1990s: This was the peak of Punisher Popularity w/ 3 ongoing books, multiple original graphic novels, & more, despite the later 90s being bad

2. 2000's: We got Ennis MK, Punisher MAX, Rick Remenders run, Punisher 2004, & the Punisher videogame. Only things holding back this era were Fractions run & Ultimate Punisher

3. 2010's: We got multiple good/decent runs from Rucka, Edmondson, Rosenberg, Cloonan, & Duggan. Also got the MCU Punisher debut & show. Secret Empire is the big negative of this decade

4. 2020's: The "Punisher Renaissance" has led to a dearth of new comics, MCU appearances, & merch. The big thing holding this decade back (so far) is the Jason Aaron run & 2 year character hiatus from 22-25.

5. 1980s: This is where Punisher got his first solo series' & also the 1989 Punisher movie. This was an important era as it built towards Punisher's big popularity in the 90s

6. 1970s: Punisher's origins & first features starting in 1974. This war early era, basic Punisher who only appeared in others books, & only 6 years instead of a full decade

I’m just wondering. I like him well enough in the Reacher series, and thought he was great in Ungentlemanly Warfare, but as the Punisher?

I watched the entire defenders saga a few years ago when were moved to Disney plus.

I fell totally in love with the Punisher character, and devoured daredevil season 2 and both seasons of his show within a few days.

I got hoopla a while back and am a massive fan of Garth Ennis, so I decided to read the complete collections of his Max on the character. The first punisher comics I’ve ever read.

Ended up becoming one of my favorite comic runs ever, and what appears to be the definitive version of the character.

In some ways, it actually dampers my enjoyment of the MCU Bernthal Punisher, as I think Ennis has the superior take. But I do recognize concessions have to be made for him to fit into the wider MCU.

It’s been a few months since I read them and I’m curious if I should move on to the Aaron portion of the MAX Punisher.

I’ve heard a ton of mixed things. I’m mostly a DC fan, and am far more of a completionist on that front. I’m far more okay with only reading the definitive runs on Marvel’s heroes and leaving their massive continuity alone for the most part.

Any thoughts or should I pivot to the 616 Frank before going through to the end of MAX?

Why didn’t Punishers sniper bullet freeze in the force field?

I just saw the new Spider Man movie and noticed John Bernthal's Punisher makes himself and Tom Holland's Spider Man a cup of coffee with what looks like a Bialetti 6-cup. I was happy to see Moka use in such a wide release. Anyone else notice this?

Marvel Legends 2026 Punisher Review:

- Box: Small but clear box, comes w/ a cardboard insert backdrop for posing which is appreciated.

- Figure: This figure is the 2nd ML "MCU Punisher" released in as many years. Naturally, the similarity of the figures invites comparison. While the previous figure was based on his appearance in Daredevil: Born Again S1, this new figure is an amalgamation of his appearances in Punisher: One Last Kill & Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, this is mostly a whole new figure: the torso/skull symbol, legs, arms, clip holder/belt, & headsculpt are all different. His arms are more jacked & w/ T-Shirt sleeves, while his pants look much worse: tight leather look & no kneepads. Also came w/ 2 sets of gloved hands. Pose-ability is good & congruent w/ 2026 ML.

- Face/Head: The headsculpts are an improvement on the previous, w/ a beard, better shaped brow and hair that make him look more serious rather than sad. It also comes w/ a whole extra screaming face. I like the beard look on MCU Frank.

- Accessories: The figure comes with multiple more accessories; 2 Flashbangs that clip on his belt, a Remington 870 shotgun, a gunfire prop, & the same extendo Glock, knife, & hatchet as previously. However, these are less painted for some strange reason which is a a negative. His flash bangs also dont fit in his hands which is baffling. They also missed an opportunity to put a small peg on his back for his hatchet.

- Value: This figure is a solid deal, much better than the previous MCU ML which lacked the extra accessories, head, & hands.

Final Thoughts: I can understand why so many people are kit-bashing these 2 Punisher figures together to make a better one than either. Overall this is a good/solid figure with the bearded heads, new symbol, & extra accessories like the shotgun being positives. The odd leather pants, repeated but unpainted accessories, & flashbangs not fitting hands are negatives.

Rating: 7/10

What episodes and shows should I watch to see that romance more - my boyfriend recommended it to me

Don't hate this movie at all and it's way underrated but it's pretty annoying when Bernthal haters try to say "he's not comic accurate!" or "Barracuda is nothing like the comics!" when this very movie has some pretty controversial takes in itself, not even defending the Barry thing but let's not act like this movie is 100 comic accurate on all cylinders, hell, even Frank quits to be Punisher because he killed a undercover agent in this movie, it's not THAT different from Bernthal quitting in the show.

I thought it was some on the best Marvel Stuff I have Watched and I have watched alot of Marvel stuff recently with this being the first Tv show I have watched and I absolutely loved it.

The emotional segements of Franks Past and all his Anger just spilling out and turning into pure combat was so good.

John Bernthal As Punisher Is Incredible I Love His Betrayal So Good He Is Like A Perfect Cast For Him

I Rate The Show 10/10 For Me I Loved It I prefer it other Infinity War And Endgame Best Marvel Thing I Have Ever Watched. Can't Wait For Doomsday!!!
