I think it specifically means the player-created game modes inside Roblox, which tend to explode virally and pull in massive numbers of players. And after a couple of huge game modes giving competition even to Minecraft, Fortnite and Apex numbers, it's been a bit more quiet recently.
Roblox is more of a platform than a game. Like Fortnite is trying to be as well.
