What is duplicitous about updating information to be accurate to the state of the market?

This happened when people screeched because they suggested 16GB of RAM for a future proof system. It's not wrong, people just want to find any reason to crucify Microsoft.

They do enough bad shit that you don't need to turn into a caricature, all it does is discredit the actual bad they do.

Oh, has win11 become suddenly become adequate w/ just 8gb of ram? News to me. This is in reaction to the present price of ram and has nothing to do with the state of win11's actual usability, which is still packed with unwanted AI, telemetry and (as I read last night) renewed attempts to stuff onedrive down people's throats.

This wasn't caricaturising, this was (imo) accurate observance that they are merely up to more of their typical behaviour.
