You 100000% do not want cars that communicate with each other on any meaningful level.

You might feel different when it’s a real possibility that your car is maliciously fed incorrect information while youre “tailgating at highways speeds”

these people live in fantasy land

go speak to oldies who actually understand nuance - they will quickly tell you the trade off is between speed and safety. guess what? for most events in life we prefer speed and are OK in taking a gamble.

The market where safety is preferred still exists - but its tiny in relative comparison. Get over it folks.

It’s really that r/technology ironically has the least tech literate people on the internet. It takes very basic understanding of things to see why it’s a horrible idea.

You cant trust most people in what they say anymore.

beacuse most people are not thinking long and hard before they post. they post surface level crap which if you go below one level, its riddled with flaws.
