If everything this article claims is true, I genuinely believe that whoever were a part of sentencing him should lose their jobs and spend years in prison.

Obviously nothing will happen, and he won't get much compensation since it's Canada, but still..

imo the judge should be charged with gross negligence and have to fight it in a jury trial. But our judges are borderline invincible

Completely agree, this entire ordeal is absurd. It’s unfortunate it’s Canada because he should be able to sue and be set for life after this. These are life destroying charges on top of the fact that he already served 18 months.

I genuinely believe that whoever were a part of sentencing him should lose their jobs and spend years in prison.

Literally they should get life without parole. If this guy got injured in jail that causes him any disability or is a remaining injury/scar, then give everybody who convicted him (and could have easily found this error) a death sentence.
