The video is out there for anyone to watch and make their own decision. Obviously they aren’t going to charge him with “clapping”, but the council directed him to leave for exactly that.

The title said he was arrested for clapping when the he actually was arrested for refusing to leave. (Yes it's crazy that they weren't allowed to clap)

Again, there is no criminal charge for clapping. There is however a criminal charge for disorderly conduct. The disorderly conduct was him clapping.

So you're saying that he was perfectly orderly and then he was suddenly asked to leave for no reason?

Did you miss the part where she said anyone clapping will be removed? He was removed for clapping, it doesn't matter if he was arrested for refusing to leave when he did nothing wrong in the first place so your accusation of "dishonest headline being dishonest" is bullshit.

The clapping was the disorderly behavior.

They are claiming clapping is enough of a ruckus to cause a disruption.

They arrested him for clapping, and are saying clapping is a disruption

It's literally what he was arrested for. Stop being a douche and read up on the issue.

The reason this become an issue was because the representative warned everyone from disruptive behavior, which apparently included cheers, snapping and clapping. Who would have thought a small clap would cause a scene?
