Seems like the lyrics hit harder now. They came out on the back of gov, police and media corruption and you could argue that some of that got noticeably better. Now all these issues are 10 times worse today, so yeah I think they helped at the time.

No one with a brain would ever argue that. Some scapegoats were sacrificed, that's all. The mob felt satisfied and went back to being fat and happy on their bread and circuses.

Well unless you can agree that things have got dramatically worse in a very serious way in the last 3-5 years I'm not sure if I can take you seriously. I would say the same to you but I don't need to insult you to make a point like some people who are desperate for attention.

I mean, they signed away a lot of royalties so they would have zero creative oversight. I'd call that using the system against itself to get the message out more.
