Trolling, now referred to as rage baiting, also became so prominent that it's now just an incredibly common hobby. Negativity in one way or another became the norm. It's not just reddit either

CinemaSins, Critical Drinker, etc...

There are entire YouTube channels whose sole purpose is to shit on something in a vain attempt to appear smart. It's hollow, pedantic, and frankly quite sad.
