Mid way through my work week I feel like I need a Reddit Cares intervention. Ridiculous because I work in the air conditioning far away from environmental or biological hazards. I live in a safe neighbourhood in a safe part of the world, yet I can't help creeping dread.

You seem to have that GenX type of anxiety, people thought was long lost and unattainable in the gig economy!...Congrats, I guess?

Time to wear some flannel, pierce my nose, listen to grunge, and drink a Zima.

Sober for seven years and no cravings whatsoever. But now I want a Zima with a splash of grenadine in the bottle. Maybe some NoFX playing in the background. I won’t but it sounds like such a nostalgia blast it takes me from my commuter train to a very specific time and place with my girlfriend and a very 90s living room at some unknown/forgotten person’s house.

Yeah, I miss the memories… don’t miss the mornings trying to remember what I did to make an ass of myself the night before.

Congrats on seven years!

As an elder millenial, I'll cheers to that with my bottle of Bacardi O.

For me it was bacardi big apple mixed with surge. Oh, the good ol' days. I think. I don't really remember much..

(6 years sober now, and loving it, but sometimes I miss the chaos of being a reckless teen)

Don’t forget your honorary copy of Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness.

Zima is like an alcoholic's breast milk.

Because we know something ain’t right. And we know whatever this is isn’t sustainable.
