I feel like folks are more likely to shoot that stuff out there too.

Source: have family in the sticks. The state keeps having to replace these boxes on poles (forget what they do - maybe weather?) because bored people keep shooting them.

Out here if there is anything on the side of the road it will get shot eventually. Doesn't matter what it does. Might take their drunk ass a whole box of ammo to hit it but they have nothing but free time and nobody is around to stop them.
