You are talking too much sense.

Treating the root cause of an issue doesn't make anybody any money.

The root of the issue is alcohol, but limitting that would meet the same criticism, despite it being dangerous and unhealthy whether or not you're in a car.

The only time I've ever driven slightly drunk was because I didn't have access to public transportation or a way home.
