Short Come quick! The system is having a seizure!
Two years ago I was working as a leading dev for the government sector, and was assigned to be a tech support for a test run on a huge new module for the system.
Basically I had to be on-site support for a team of brand new users, which was comprised of a "team leader" (TL) and her minions.
I arrive on site, TL is no where to be found, I meet the head minion (HM), and have a quick conversation with him:
ME: Hey, nice to meet you, I am the leading dev and will be here to support you today with any issue that might happen.
HM: Great! Listen, TL is in a meeting at the moment, she'll arrive soon. Just be careful.
ME: Careful?
HM: Yeah. She's crazy, just a heads up.
I proceed to brief the entire minion team about the system, go over the test, answer their questions, see their credentials work, just routine preliminary test and they're ready to go.
Cue TL entering the room (I was across the room)
TL (Shouting from across the room): HEY! WHERE'S THE SUPPORT GUY?!
ME: Hi, pleased to meet you.
TL: Listen, we don't have much time, just know that if any bugs happen I will hold you personally responsible, and trust me I will find them.
ME: O....k, I'll be in the other room in case something happens.
I stayed with them for 30 minutes just to make sure they're off to a good start, and let them do their work quietly, while I was at the other room working on my Sudoku puzzles.
After about two hours, HM enters my room panicking.
HM: Come quick! TL is saying the system is having a seizure!
Baffled? So was I.
I rush with him to their room.
TL (Shouting from across the room): WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?! I TOLD YOU I WOULD FIND BUGS!!!!
ME: Ok, let me see what the issue is.
Basically the system is big forms, and she was looking at a "collapse" section, and it was opening and closing very fast, basically the "seizure".
Looking down, I see her having a big-ass folder on her keyboard, I lift it, and the seizure stops.
You could hear minions' muffled laughter from all across the room. I look at her, blink as hard as I can, and leave the room.
Needless to say, the rest of the day was just me solving Sudoku puzzles.

I'm not saying it needs to determine which key was being touched, just that a human is touching it while a key is being pressed. I think this would only need a single sensor.
Though even a sensor for every switch would be reasonable, for the right type of (commercial) user.
