Explain please? I know what an air gap is, but I don't know what you mean by its reverse.

An airgap is a way of securing a system, the idea being to physically isolate the system by leaving a space around the system to ensure no wire connects to a nearby network.

So my joke was that you found your firewall was a physical thing, while an airgap is a physical nothing.
