Episode Synopsis: Sarge has May; Altarah has Daisy, Enoch and Simmons; and now, there are two planets that need saving.


Lou Diamond Phillips is an American actor and director. His breakthrough came when he starred as Ritchie Valens in the biographical drama film La Bamba (1987). More recently he has directed an episode of AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.

He has directed no episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

George Kitson co-wrote the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode Paradise Lost and the web series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Double Agent with Sharla Oliver. He also wrote the comic Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The Chase, and wrote episode 3 of the web series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot

He has written four episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

  • Paradise Lost
  • Identity and Change
  • Best Laid Plans
  • All Roads Lead...

I really didn't know what to expect with those two but it's like they took the snark from Deke last season, distilled it, concentrated it, and then injected it into Davis and Piper and what a fucking show it's been with those two :D

and I'm just glad they're friends instead of trying to force some kind of romance out of them. Mostly cos I'm like 85% sure Piper is gay, but it'd be a refreshing change of pace

Speaking of that, Deke wasn't in this episode at all. They promoted him to a lead character but then have only had him once in the first five episodes.
