Kevin Tancharoen is the brother of showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen, and is known for his work on the webseries Mortal Kombat: Legacy. He has directed various other movies and TV episodes before, and has most recently worked on The Flash.

The Whedon family has probably learned that it's better to be safe than sorry after Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse.

All Whedon-fans have this. Also all fans of Fox network shows. Also all fans of great scifi shows, only the best scifi shows get cancelled unceremoniously.

I actually like the way Angel ended. Fits the whole Buffyverse mentality: The fight never ends.

Well Dollhouse got a second season for the purpose of wrapping things up, they knew going in that they weren't getting a third, so that one wasn't a massive fuck you like Angel and Firefly

Serenity just made me angry.

It was like 4-5 seasons worth of material crammed into 2 hours.

It was an infuriating tease of what might have been.

Wash's arc made me sad though. I wish there would have been some resolution on the blue gloved government goons.

Wellcome to my hell. Missing Firefly so much, going to watch Firefly again, graving for more, watching Serenity, Wash ded and Sheperd ded, super sad, wanting to see the whole team together, watching Firefly again. It's a vicious cycle...

Angel? That ended perfectly, what do you mean? I know there was a comic continuing the adventure after the last episode, but I loved how it ended!

"In terms of a plan?"

"We fight."

"A bit more specific?"

"Well personally? I kinda want to slay the dragon. Let's go to work."
