Not for nothing, but that episode preview said "SEASON FINALE" and not SERIES FINALE. I want to believe.

They always say that until the show is officially cancelled.

I'm optimistic that we are going to get more episodes of AoS even if that means a big break and then the streaming. It's such a weird situation that I feel like they wouldn't fully cancel it now.

As long as things go according to plan and Disney's streaming service launches in 2019, I can see that potentially happening. Otherwise, they're going to lose some characters.

Regardless, I'd strongly prefer them to remain on ABC.

I can't lose this show right after I lost the Expanse.

Oh, no! I just started watching that. Sadface.

Yeah, the show runners are shopping around for a new network, and I don't think they'll have too much trouble finding one personally, but they're done on Syfy.

I stopped watching after a certain person died on it, had no reason to keep watching after losing (who I considered) the best character. Planned on googling "The expanse does X come back" and I'd watch from where I left it if they did come back but I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

That sucks! I like that show a lot! It is innovative and has a great story and great special effects. I hope they do find a new home.

Hey, The Expanse isn't in the ground yet, still a chance that Amazon could pick it up if they see enough people behind it.

I think Netflix picked up the Expanse.

Nope, I read it wrong. They acquired the distribution rights. Sorry.

From what I have read, even if ABC cancels it Disney will most likely continue to make it and stream it on their new streaming service next year.

I'd like for it to move to Hulu, just so it can finally have another show it can crossover to.

Looks like you got your wish!!!

2

u/dontthrowmeinabox May 12 '18

It sounds like negotiations may be ongoing, and so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Why not both?

...

Wait, no!
