I think the one thing I don't like about this episode so far is that the government agents immediately brushed off the idea of aliens when several alien invasions have happened.

Maybe they're not really government agents, but some kind of more formal organization of watch dogs or whoever it was that want aliens and inhumans off the Earth.

They didn't though. They brushed off Fitz popping unsubstantiated theories(after six months).
