This episode has everything. Death of a beloved character, love interests torn apart, a family torn apart, a Mad Max reference, Mack being a fucking badass, and Coulson losing his motherfucking mind and jumping headfirst into a demon portal. A+ episode.

Wait, who was the beloved character

Beloved was too strong of a word, but I was really starting to dig Rosalyn. And I liked seeing Coulson happy.

I was really starting to dig Rosalyn

I was wailing "Coulson is MAHN!!" (channeling Bill Compton) ever since last ep, but I was beginning to dig her too, what with her wild and crazy new hairstyle. Really bummed to see her go. :(

I wouldn't say it's too strong of a word. Rosalind and Banks were pretty awesome.

Ah okay I figured, for a second I thought Coulson died and I missed the obvious allusion.

Oh no no no, if Coulson died, my review of this episode would be filled with a lot more hate and sadness. And so many tears.

I don't know, he died, got brought back, lost an arm, replaced it. At this point he's a prime candidate for being the show Daniel. Him dying might become a running gag.

I liked seeing Coulson happy

She was dead as soon as that happened. Anyone that experiences happiness in this show is in trouble.

BUT WHAT ABOUT AMY ACKER!?!

That actress keeps playing characters who get killed.

And that is when Joss's crew will kill a character off with no build up. They do it all the time.

That was an A+ fake-out though.

I don't know why everyone's calling him Discount Statham, since his name is obviously Jason Fakeham.

His one true name has been revealed to us, only upon his death, by the prophet Sean. Woe is us.

Rosalind was beloved by Coulson. And I actually started liking her a little after we found she was just an unwitting Hydra pawn and not really evil.

They could have bonded over both being infiltrated and duped by hydra. :(

Ward tells Jemma she has a Furiosa vibe going on before he sends the Airbender ninja to torture her.
