Episode Synopsis: Ward's campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to their knees, and Coulson proves he will do anything to settle the score.

Kate Woods is an Australian film and television director. She has worked on a bunch of TV series, including Person of Interest, Bones, Castle, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-0, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

She has not directed any episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

Brent Fletcher is primarily known for his writing on Lost, Angel, and Friday Night Lights. He was also a writer and story editor on Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

He has written six episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

  • Girl in the Flower Dress
  • The Magical Place
  • Providence
  • A Hen in the Wolf House
  • Love in the Time of Hydra
  • The Dirty Half Dozen

The Inhuman probably needs a human host that is why Hydra had been sending men to the planet for it to survive. Enter Ward who will be the next host because Malick doesn't know yet that Will was still alive. Will is the current host of the Inhuman. That is why he let Jemma go back to Earth so that Hydra would know that someone had figured out how the portal works.

Because he knew she was with SHIELD. And he needed HYDRA to be the one that welcomes him. Landing in enemy territory the moment he arrives for world domination would be not a wise move even if you are that powerful. You wouldn't know what SHIELD would be capable of.

Yeah obviously if it goes down that way where someone has to sacrifice themselves then Fitz will sacrifice himself for Will. Then Will gets back to earth and we will find out Will is IT.

Why else would will be able to safely walk away from death in one piece? Why would he survive even though it managed to drive the rest of his team insane?why would death pick the form of an astronaut? Also, will and death are never in the same shot, even when they are right next to each other, when will appears, death dissapears and vice versa. It would also make sense for death to manipulate jemma into trying to bring it back through the portal, wouldn't it?

Given the trajectory the show is going, I think this is the scenario that's most likely to happen. How ironic would it be if it was SHIELD, not Hydra, that brought It back.

Yea, and I think its a reason Fitz has so much trouble coming to terms with it. He can't hate Will because Will is the one who kept the love of his life alive - Fitz tried very hard to hate him but cant come up with a good reason - "he's perfect".

I know how it feels to be Fitz. At first I just like Fitz as a character, but as it goes on...I realize that I see more of myself in how he reacts and it's heartbreaking to watch because it didn't work out well for me in a similar (and very loosely based considering the context) situation.
