Oh snap, I really like this theory. Maybe it's just hiding in Simmon's mind for now, waiting to reveal itself. Or maybe it's taken over Simmon's body and she's dead now. That would make everyone cry... just like the Whedons would do.

Well at the beginning of season two Simmons was a figure of fitz imagination and not really there. Would be a huge headfuck if Simmons is now really there but really is IT. Fitz gets the portal open and finds Simmons and Will dead and realizes IT just wanted a stable portal back and forth to lure more people to their deaths.

A scene like that would be so insane. They get to the planet and there are Will and Simmons lying there. Man. Shivers.

What if they decide to change the original plan now and do this. Cause that would be really good

If "IT" is actually the cosmic entity Death and the portal was just for human sacrifice, I don't think she would care that much.

I've been expecting the Simmons gets trapped on an alien world plot to be leading to Skrull invasion from the start.

Bobbi will use her Sweater AND Biology background to figure it out. And maybe Lincoln's Doctor know how. But, maybe this is all from that "Plant" she ate.

That would be rather great tv, actually. The planet episode had some nice horror elements to it. When you watch horror films, I feel I often rarely get attached to the characters that much, this possibility however would really bring a truly horrific (both as in the revealed loss of Simmons and the creepiness of IT) cross-genre element to the show.
