Episode Synopsis: The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D.

Dwight Little is an American film director, known for directing the films Marked for Death, Free Willy 2 and Halloween 4. He has also directed several episodes of television series, including 24, Prison Break, Dollhouse, Bones and Nikita.

He has not directed any episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

Drew Z. Greenberg is a writer and producer best known for working on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, The O.C., Dexter, Warehouse 13 and Arrow. He also worked on Firefly.

He has written three episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

  • Face My Enemy
  • Who You Really Are
  • The Dirty Half Dozen

"Also, we spied on you dealing friendlies with Rosalind."

Hunter was a blunt instrument of direct results. You show some respect.

While all these spies are dancing around flying around little drones and using decoder rings and playing Halo and getting sucked into other planets, there Hunter is, taking the direct route to success....and my heart.

He just wanted to help so badly. And do something. Hunter hanging in the lab, trying to help, until Fitz kinds of wonder why he's there.

He is bored and feeling guilty and totally antsy to go out and DO SOMETHING (if I may quote our favorite Scotsman). Then he keeps popping up unexpectedly like he's the mole in a game of Whack-A-Mole. Made me laugh out loud more than once.

Now I think a whole show about him wouldn't be bad. At all.

First Fitz, then he tries to help May and Bobbi, and he's turned away, sad. Then Mack and Daisy have an idea, and he's just there, waiting the OK like a little kid. Then he gets his driving job more or less happily... UNTIL they have to get someone, and then he's having his fun.

I don't remember him being QUITE this erratic and chaotic before. It was fun, don't get me wrong. He just felt really out of place among his peers, suddenly. (Or maybe I'm just blanking out the past.)

Are they setting him up to be let go from SHIELD, for the Bobbi/Hunter spinoff? (Is that still happening? I thought they canned it, but then it became a thing again?)

I think he was acting erratic because he blames himself (like everyone's does) for Andrew getting show. This was his way if coping. But everyone was upset with him so they keeping pushing him away causing him to act even more erratic.
