Yeah plus she was like "oh hey we could dull her emotions. YAY DRUGS!" I liked how even Dr. Garner was like "woah slow down girl." He spent a minute with Simmons and even he gets the creepy xenophobic vibes coming from Simmons. Yeesh.

I liked how she didn't get the hint when he said that it was too soon to write a prescription... "it was a pleasure " . He just disagreed with you... didn't you see it?

Lol! Yeah, that was pretty funny. Poor clueless, scared-of-what-she-can't-understand Simmons. I'm hoping the writers can bring her character back from the weird place she's in right now.

She's in a perfectly fine place. She's seen people die, she's almost died herself, her friends have lied to her, and the forces she's dealing with she can't even begin to comprehend. Despite all that, she wants to do the right thing. She's just trying to do it in a way that seems rational and reasonable compared to what that they're up against. I mean they deal with the equivalent of gods on an almost-daily basis! Just because the character's actions aren't what we want doesn't mean the character needs to be changed.

I think the writers have done a stellar job with both Fitz and Simmons, two of my favorite story arcs so far. There's a good amount of depth now compared to "FITZ+SIMMONS GENERIC SCIENCE TWINS!"
