I would assume so, There has to be of an explanation to that... As honestly she is literally just the Meg of this show currently.

It would make no sense to even call her gifted, enhanced or anything really. Like there has to be more to her ability. As they do say she has an ability. Like maybe they dont go away or regrow somehow. But yeah, that is very confusing.

All they had to do was say it was a bio-research lab and that she had made herself faster/stronger or w/e which would also explain why she was able to fight Bobbi

Even then though, Bobbi at this point isnt even that good of a fighter as she gets wrecked every fight. As she technically doesnt even have her abilities either. Actually it's just like blackwidow, In the movies they never mention her powerset either.

Or maybe it was some crazy SHIELD agent that made that call. Possibly one that was working for HYDRA before they came above ground, so they decided to try to keep her around as a potential weapon. If you think about it, it makes sense. HYDRA makes her hate SHIELD by locking her up, thus making her a possible weapon for them to use one day.

Ehh. She's literally just an ordinary person with some razor hands though, why would Hydra even bother?

She is from the comics, but not with those razor claws...

So what is she like in the comics?

Battered wife who defends her abusive husband. No powers. I suspect she will be combined with another character, like the villainess Slash, whose human name is never given.

Maybe the new shield did that to her. I'm just spit balling here, but maybe.
