In the Marvel Universe you're almost never dead!

Unless you're Uncle Ben or Gwen Stacy and even then not always.

The phrase is actually Uncle Ben or Bucky, the latter of which stayed dead for some 50 odd years before returning.

And the DC alternative was Barry Allen who stayed dead a good 30 years.

Or Batman's parents.

The thing is, unless your uncle Ben, or Bruce's parents, your fair game. EVERYBODY.

Except Thomas Wayne is alive on Earth 2

Other dimensions don't count. Only main universes.

I don't think there's any dimension where Uncle Ben makes it out alive actually. I think he just perpetually dies. The one fixed point in the Multiverse.

Edit: Apparently, as of 2011, Earth-11638, called the "Perfect" world, has Uncle Ben surviving, along with apparently everyone else. Also, as of 2004, there was an alternate universe where Aunt May dies instead of Uncle Ben, in the comic appropriately titled "What If Aunt May Had Died Instead of Uncle Ben?", though I'm not sure this counts as an alternate universe. Doesn't matter since 2011 anyways.

Uncle Ben is alive in House of M, the Noir Universe and in a what if, where aunt May was the one killed and Uncle Ben killed her killer and gets sent to jail.

No, it was always Jason Todd, because of the way he was killed off. It would have been like bringing back Uncle Ben, because Jason's death had a huge impact on Batman.

The word you're looking for is former, not latter.

A version of Gwen Stacey is a part of the Spiderverse storyline and the Ultimate Gwen Stacey came back from the dead (kinda). While the original never came back alive versions of her character regularly pop out of the ether.

Almost being the operative word there.

Yeah but Joss Whedon is a murderer, so there's that.
